Such a gorgeous serene backyard! The food is great, the drinks are fantastic, and the staff is stellar. Absolutely will be coming back for more!
Love the staff here. They are always creative when it comes to their drinks. Their food is also really good and pairs well with the place. I miss their full aquarium but I think they will start to rebuild again!
Nice atmosphere, yummy cocktail, great selection of craft brews, including unusual styles like sours!
We had our wedding reception on the patio - The staff was amazing and so on top of all the food and drinks, it was like having a professional wedding planner! We didn't have to lift a finger and we could enjoy our own party since the staff was so on top of things. Very price friendly and all guests had such a good time. Everyone was saying they wanted to have an event here too.
For a nautical themed bar with a beautiful backyard garden with fish, this is a great spot. Throughout the bar, there are many nautically themed items and decor including a fish tank behind the bar. The staff is friendly, and the night we went it wasn’t too pack. The garden in the back is very well maintained with stone paths to the tables.
Primarily alcohol are draft beers, cocktails, and some wine. Drink prices range $6-$14 and definitely enjoyed some of there more sour beers with fruit notes.
Food was also good at a reasonable price. Definitely get the fries, which are super crispy and salted well. It’s self service so don’t be rude, and leave your tray at your table, once your done. There is a fee added for using credit card, but the ATM fee is $0.50 only.
I recently visited for the first time post-COVID with friends, and sadly it has changed.
The bartender's playlist was great, but other than that, dissapointing. I saw the bartender making shots for some other patrons at the bar, asked what they were, and told it was salt water with a smug smile. So unless this person is Ariel or Sade Adu in the music video ‘No Ordinary Love,’ it was rude and dismissive.
I know Sunset Park has gentrified significantly over the past few years, but if this is how a local business plans to operate. I’ll make my own drinks at homeand look for new bars to visit.
Such a great bar!! :)
We had a few drinks here and split the burger/fries. Such a great ambiance and the bar never got too crowded. Taz was a great bartender and was able to attend everyone in a timely manner.
TLDR: great drinks/food, excited to come back sometime soon!
I was very happy to stumble across this place. The kitchen is open very late and the food is actually really really good. The bartenders were all very cool. The music in there is picked based on who is bartending so the first night I walked in it was completely different than the next and the last. Awesome fish tank to stare at while getting drinks. Besides the fact that people from New York go to this bar, because it's in Brooklyn I think, it's a nice bar. But the patrons are generally trash because people from there are rude and loud and think they own the block.
